Create and manage projects

Create projects, structure them with collections, sort, archive and delete them.

Create a project

  1. On the left, choose the workspace and the folder the project belongs in.

  2. Click New Project, enter a Name and click Save.

The project is created in the selected folder. If the workspace has no folder yet, moodcase creates one automatically. How workspaces and folders fit together is described in Teams and workspaces.

Inside a project

The bar on the left of a project leads to Library, Review, Workflow, Galleries and Shares. In the library, All Images shows all assets of the project and Last Import the most recent upload. How to upload assets is described in Upload media.

Structure with collections

Collections are not folders. An asset can be in no collection, one or several, without using additional storage. If you replace an asset, it is replaced in every collection.

In the library, click Add Collection, enter a Name and click Save. To get assets into a collection:

  • Select assets and drag them onto the collection.

  • Select assets first, then create the collection with Add selected photos to collection.

  • Open the collection and upload assets directly into it.

Sort projects

In the project overview, use Sort to set the order: by Name, Created at or Recent Activity, either Ascending or Descending.

Manage projects

A project's three-dot menu contains:

  • Edit: change the name.

  • Move: to another workspace or folder of the team.

  • Share: share the project. See Share projects.

  • Archive: the project disappears from the overview and is listed on the left under Archive. Share links and search stay active. Use Restore in the project menu to bring it back.

  • Delete: deletes the project and all its assets permanently.
