Share for client selection
For your client to select assets, share the project with the client selection permission. In the Share Project dialog, open the Client Selection tab and turn on Allow clients to make selections. With Show all selections, the client also sees selections made by other users, not just their own.
How to share a project is described in Share Projects.
How your client selects
Your client opens the share link. The first time, moodcase shows a short guide.
They enter their email address and choose an existing selection or create a new one.
One click on the circle icon adds an asset to their favorites.
When they are done, they click Finalize Selection.
You then receive an email: "{Name} has finalized a client selection." If the client changes a finalized selection later, you are notified as well.
Manage selections in the project
In the library, choose a selection under Client Selection on the left. The three-dot menu next to it contains New Selection, Edit Selection, Clear Selection, Delete Selection, Download and Export. Deleting a selection does not delete any assets.
Export a selection
Export copies the file list of the selection for your software. Paste it into the search field in Capture One, Lightroom or the Finder to find the original files of the selection.
Bring a selection into Lightroom Classic
With the Lightroom plug-in you can import a selection directly: Library > Plug-in Extras > Import Selection. The plug-in compares the file names in moodcase with those in your Lightroom catalog. The import requires identical file names:
When exporting from Lightroom, choose Filename under File Naming so the original names are kept.
Avoid additions such as "(Copy)" or "_clientselection" and names unrelated to the original such as "final_edit_new.jpg".
Use letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores; no spaces, special characters, umlauts or brackets.
