Structuring projects

Learn how to organize and structure clients, projects, and collections in moodcase.

Updated today

In moodcase, every project is assigned to a client. First, create a client. A client contains projects. Settings apply to the entire project. Sharing is managed for each project individually. Within a project, you organize images into collections. An image can be assigned to multiple collections.

Building the structure

  1. Create a client. A client serves as the high-level unit.

  2. Create a project within the client. A client can contain multiple projects. The project description serves as additional information and is displayed as a subtitle in galleries.

  3. Create collections within the project to structure your content.

  4. Select the "All Photos" area and upload images.

  5. Assign the images to collections. Alternatively, upload images directly into a collection. If you select images and then create a collection, you can use the option "Add selected photos to collection".

Keyboard shortcuts: CMD + a selects all elements. Use Shift to select ranges. Hold the CMD key to add or remove individual images.

  6. Images can be assigned to multiple collections without using additional storage space.
