How to share projects with a Moodcase user

Share projects with Moodcase users via email invitation and customize access rights. Shared projects can be found under "Shared with me".

Updated over a year ago

If you want to share a project with a Moodcase user, follow these steps:

  1. Open the project you want to share.

  2. Click on the icon at the top right of the menu bar. It looks like a user with a plus sign and is right next to the Share Project dialog.

  3. Enter the recipient's email address and select the appropriate permissions.

In the invitation dialog you have the option to customize the permissions for the invited user. You can choose which projects the user can see, which customers they can select, whether they can perform reviews and start workflows, and whether they can download files. In each tab there are different options to customize the permissions exactly to your needs. You can also select predefined settings to save time when assigning the same permissions more frequently.

Once you've selected the permissions you want, click "Send" to send the invitation. The recipient will then receive an email with a link to the project and the appropriate permissions. If the recipient is already a Moodcase user, the project will automatically be added to their project bar. If the recipient is not yet a Moodcase user, he/she must first register before he/she can see the project.

The shared projects appear under "Shared with me" in the client list. The invited user can accept or decline the invitation. If he/she accepts the invitation, he/she can access the project and perform the tasks assigned to him/her. If he declines the invitation, he will not have access to the project.

By sharing projects with a Moodcase user and customizing permissions, you can ensure that each user has exactly the permissions they need to be productive.
